Gemini New Moon 2015- What A Tangled Web We Weave

New moon today. Be careful of the verbal seeds you’re sowing, especially with this one occurring in the sign of the storyteller, Gemini. Of course as a new moon it is connected to the purest idea we have of self, the Sun, but it is also literally backed up by the Warrior willing to fight for it, Mars. With it being in Gemini as well, the fight is a convincing PR campaign that sways hearts.

Weave a new story but gather facts as well. Find new avenues of intellectual expansion but remember to verify. Neptune is station retrograde so we think the fog has lifted but it has just slowed down before it shifts direction. This is the time it will get thickest and that means that dreams and truth will converge but not in neat little boxes. Speak truthfully and slowly to avoid any deception, self or otherwise, from carrying forward after this retrograde is over. That means understanding that the dreams we speak of are still just dreams for now and we are missing vital pieces in order to make them reality.

Dream and weave but know it is just a story folks. There are steps beyond speaking it into existence.

May 3rd Scorpio Full Moon- Let go to hold on

Full moon in Scorpio hits May 3rd at 11:42pm ET. Both the sun and moon will be square to Jupiter in Leo.

Full moon in Scorpio– Deep emotional attachment to hopes and dreams that you have been in the process of working on. Desire to go deeper while still holding on. Willingness to sacrifice for objectives is due to emotional connection to the end goal outweighing present circumstances.

Moon in Scorpio opposite Sun in Taurus- emotional need to connect may be at odds with conscious desire to acquire. Head and heart are at odds, mostly in areas of values and possessions. Unconscious issues with worthiness may drive us all. Find balance or get lost in the impasse.

Sun in Taurus square Jupiter in Leo–  Our desire to evaluate the material and personal possessions and values we have may be spurred on optimistic pride. Things might seem better than they are and we may look to move forward with a false sense of security. Patience is needed to sort thru issues.

Moon in Scorpio square Jupiter in Leo– our emotional connection to the people and things we hold dear may be clouded by optimism. Our excitement over small gains may spur us to go to far. Giving too much without considering the long term consequences may inspire us to plot revenge later. Temper optimisim with realistic thinking to avoid overindulgence.

The Incredible Hulk Syndrome- Aries New Moon April 2015

If you feel a bit like you’ve been walking an emotional high wire, you’re not alone. The new moon will happen at 2:57 pm Eastern at 28 degrees of Aries.

We might feel ourselves holding our breathe to keep ourselves in check emotionally. Asserting ourselves when we feel ourselves being emotionally threatened may occur. We might even be in a situation where we find ourselves scrambling for a new way to be our old self. It’s cool though. Or rather, stay cool.

Keeping a cool head is a definite good idea. Remembering that the core of who we are won’t change is a good piece of advice to hold onto in these choppy New moon in Aries waters. Also remember that Aries doesn’t handle fear well. Aries often inspires us to run forward when fear overtakes because it would rather take action than be seen as a coward. I’m not suggesting you run but a moderately placed walk away from your fears and the old might be a good idea.

Walk around. Smell the roses, the perfume, the diesel fuel, whatever floats your boat. Soon you’ll see that you’ve covered miles of new terrain by just focusing on the small things that make you happy. Seems like a great way to start the transition into Taurus Sun Season.

April 2015 Full Moon and Lunar Eclipse- When should us become me?

Hey good peoples! I hope this post finds you well, especially seeing as how it is a bit late. I think it is time for me to reevaluate my relationship with my internet provider lol.

Even with this post going up after the Libra full moon and eclipse, it still has useful information that you can use. Planetary energies and configurations don’t just magically poof away the second they move out of tight configurations. The energies build and recede. This is especially true of of the moon because the cycle of the moon waxes and wanes. New and full moons are high points in the lunar cycle. Full moons are high points that signal a full to bursting energy that has built up since the new moon.Sweet Moon Phases

Going forward from a full moon, we should be looking to clear away things and pieces of us that do not fit in with or assist us in our journey. There is still time to do so with this Libra full moon that asks us to look at relationships in our lives that we go forwardforward and acquiesce in because of our emotions but are at odds with our individuality and journey to embody our highest self.

Get Ready! New Moon, Eclipse, and the start of Aries season 3/20/2015

The first day of spring is starting to look like it is coming in with a bang. March 20th is a day that includes the Spring equinox, a new moon, AND a solar eclipse. Whew!

First up is the new moon and solar eclipse. The new moon (which is also a super moon) occurs in the 29th degree of Pisces at 5:36 am Eastern. New moons represent new journeys and new beginnings. They are fraught with promise and hope. Occurring in the last degree of Pisces, this new moon gets an extra push for us to dream of what we want before we head out to get it. 29 degrees is always a heady place for any planet and that is certainly true of a new moon and eclipse. Pisces wants us to dream, to not see things as they are but as they could be. The Pisces new moon wants us to get emotionally connected, with ourselves and the world. As a mutable water sign, the fishes give the moon an almost psychic level of intuition. Mutable signs tidy things up before a big change, they clear out the old to make way for the new. Combine that with the water element and we get a fresh emotional start for our new moon. Negatively expressed, this could lead folks to run headlong into their dream world with little consideration for reality. The inability to change their surroundings to suit them can start a journey of escapism that may not end well. Keep that in mind as you set your intentions, especially for this new moon.

Why? Because the new moon is occurring during a full solar eclipse. The meeting of sun and moon make for a heady combination. Symbolically, our conscious light will be covered by our unconscious reflections of that light. This will start at 5:09am Eastern and end at 6:22am for full viewing. Partial viewing times are from 3:41am Eastern until 7:50am. cleanThese are powerful moments because we have two options essentially- to allow our unconscious and emotions to come forth to be examined by the light so that we can use them as guideposts or to fear the unknown and stay disconnected. I think everyone can agree that option two is not really an option.

These two heavenly bodies joining during a new moon and solar eclipse can be seen as a merging of the feminine and masculine archetypes that birth every journey. The conscious and subconscious merging to make a complete person or the active and reactive natures that embody every living thing. Understand that this energy is freely at our disposal in a sign that always whispers to us that everything was once just a thought, a dream, an idea. Allow your creative juices to flow in a way that can give birth to a new chapter for yourself. Connect to others and allow them to inspire you to change your world.

walkAlmost a complete 12 hours later, the sun will enter Aries and a new journey begins. The cycle of the zodiac starts fresh, so to speak, and it seems very appropriate given the astrological activities of the moment. When the sun moves into the sign of the ram, our consciousness turns to not just new journeys but to ourselves. Like a hero that sets off towards the sun, the sun in Aries moves with vigor and a focus on how to make its mark in the world. The sun does not ask us do this for recognition however when it moves into Aries. It asks us to do so because new journeys must be continually taken in order to shape and define us. The need to pander to others is lessened because Aries gives the sun a tough edge that focuses on individuality and making your own way. A bit brashly and impulsively, because Aries is a cardinal fire sign, but with an ability to bounce back.

The Uranus/Pluto Square is still in effect during this time so try to temper your urge to destroy and rebuild with some foresight and planning. The Saturn/Neptune square could help in dreaming big if we allow Saturn in Sagittarius to keep a realistic yet optimistic eye on the big picture truth.

All of these events will have an effect on a big scale but where it matters is where they will be happening in your personal birth chart. A new moon/solar eclipse in the second house could mean new understandings of self worth and new opportunities for growth of personal resources. However the same event in the 6th house could denote a new diet or health regimen as well as a reorganizing of home and work by fine tuning details.
